FREQUENTLY ASKED WATER FILTER QUESTIONS

Want to know more about water filters and the benefits they provide? Read through our frequently asked questions to find the answers to some of our most common questions. Contact our team to find out more.

  • Why do I need a water filter?

Many people don't know, but there are more than 2000 harmful contaminants in tap water. A good filter is essential to remove these and purify the water you use and drink.

  • Why are reverse osmosis systems better than regular filter systems?

Reverse osmosis systems are capable of reducing dissolved solids like sodium, copper and nitrate in your drinking water. Regular systems can handle dirt and sediments, but dissolved solids are too much for regular systems to handle, which is why reverse osmosis systems are better.

  • What if I can't find a water filter system I like?

No worries! If none of our standard systems catch your eye, talk to our team about our customised solutions. We have tailor-made water filters for a number of Darwin schools, cafes and local businesses.

  • How do I select the right replacement filter?

The easiest method is to head to our Filter Cartridges page and find the cartridge you're currently using. If you can't find your replacement model, call our team and we'll be happy to source the right one for you.

  • Do filters have a shelf life?

As long as they are kept in their packaging and away from extreme temperatures and chemicals then they have no shelf life. They should be able to survive indefinitely.
